When are the meetings of the School Advisory Council?
Lee Virtual School's monthly meetings will incorporate and begin with our School Advisory Committee (SAC) meetings. Following the SAC meeting topics-of-interest, there is the "Informational Night" portion of the meeting (for those who are interested in joining LVS). The meetings will also present our "LVS Parent Night" portion (for current LVS parents and students who may need help or have questions). Attendees may choose to stay for any and all parts of these meetings as there are always many topics of interest covered.
These meetings will always begin with the SAC meeting that includes a planned agenda for all school support with community stakeholders' interactions and information for the operations within the school. Once the formal SAC meeting business has concluded, then the meeting will then progress to informational and parent help topics for those attendees who wish to stay. Finally, there will be a community Q & A (Question and Answer) session and then any "good of the order" topics to conclude the meetings.
All meetings will be held online via Zoom and are planned to occur once per month. Again, the meetings' agendas will cover all topics related with SAC, Information for those interested in LVS, and current parent help meetings. Please register to attend one or more of the meetings and we will send you an automatic confirmation.
We want to encourage parents, students and community members to participate at each of our meetings. For additional information, contact the LVS office at 239-337-8178.
