Lee County is home to Lee Virtual School. LVS is one of Florida's top-ranked virtual schools and is the only Kindergarten through 12th grade public accredited online public school in our area.  This challenging online learning program also follows the school district calendar.

LVS students have access to many of the same courses as they would in a traditional (brick-and-mortar) school including: Honors level, Dual Enrollment (via FGCU, FSW, FMTC, CCTC, and Keiser), while also offering the flexibility of a dynamic schedule. Students who complete their virtual courses of study will receive the same accredited diploma as they would with any other public school.

There are two application periods for LVS. The first application period coincides with the SDLC choice selection enrollment period; otherwise known as "School Choice". The second application period occurs during November and is prior to the second-semester. Enrollment in LVS is not final until orientation and all required documentation is complete. Lee Virtual School also offers a variety of part time and summer courses for original credit.

All enrollments must go through the LCSD Student Assignment Office
